The film follows the Kurdish artist Delîl Dîlanar, exiled in the 1990s for singing a Kurdish song at a wedding, as he returns home after twenty years and meets his master Egîdê Cimo in the village. Through a musician’s state of mind it asks about estrangement from family and a longing for mother, land and homeland. It had its world premiere at the Montreal World Film Festival in 2015.
